i am trying to figure out if i should get a pregnancy test or not because i have not started my perid yet and i started my period on the 23 of january do you think i should?

with a normal cycle you should have started between February 21 and February 23

I think you could be late for a period and you need to take a pregnancy test. The average woman has a period every 28 to 34 days. And that starts from the first day of your last period.

Okay your first day of that time of the month is the begining of your cycle. Now your question to yourself to count is do you have the normal 28 day cycle? If to day one is first day of your time of the month. :) hope that helps if you think your pregnant make an apt and take a home pregnancy test.

You start counting from the first day of your period...that is day 1

The day it starts.
If you are like me (32 day cycles), wait another week. If you are on a 28 day cycle, go get a test. If it were me I would wait one more week. Or I would go get a blood test. I, personally, don't trust the urine tests. Mine were both negative and I was pregnant both times. Even the urine test the hospital did was negative. i had to get a blood test.

You count the length of your cycle by the FIRST day of your last menstrual period.

you start counting the day you start.........and it if you had not had it so far you should take a pregnancy test.....
