I know one time I was in the store and I was about 13 at the time, I'm 25 now. But I had my nephew and the guy walked by and said. "Boy, young black girls having babies makes no sense" lol

And I had my first child at 19 after I was married, and the place where I had worked, a women came up to me and said: "So how does it feel to be a single parent?" (What in da hezzy?)

And I know this one guy came up to me and ask for my phone number, I said I was married. He says: "So, I came be ya man on the side." ??????

Why do people say crazy things?? What have someone said to you?

They don't have the sense God gave a goose. Obviously, they have preconceived notions about certain things, disrespectful as they are. You sound like a swell person, because it seems that you take it with a sense of humor. A lot of people would just add it to their hate and resentful bag and let it eat at them.

the vast majority of young black girls aged 19 with a child are not married. I would imagine the figure is probably 90+ %...so the sterotype has some validity. But good for you, trumping the consensus.
