Why should we be open minded? do you think that we should even be open minded at all? have you had any experiences running into people that where not open minded to your ideas?

Asking the questions "why?", "how" and "what if" have resulted in all the inventions, skills and knowledge we utilise today.

If we assume that we know everything and are always right we will never learn, grow or have healthy relationships.

It is exciting to share ideas, build a shared understanding of the world we live in and develop a vision for what could be.

It will be a sad and lonely day if I were to lapse into apathy.

That you have asked the question shows that you are open minded enough to be open to our responses. Thanks for asking!

No one has the right to choose for another. I prefer being open-minded because I learn about other people and what they want out of life. Allow others their right to BE

It doesn't matter if you personally believe something as long as you are respectful toward that person and their thoughts. It aids in effective communication and speaks of your character. If people were not open minded, we would still think that the earth is flat is at the center of the solar system.

Let's just say that if the world was filled with only open minded people there would be no or very very few wars.

I think being opened minded comes with being mature, and listen to others opinion and beliefs, and try to at least understand where there are coming from. even if you still disagree with them and hope they can respect your opinion like you respected there's

many on this site.a close mind is dead and wont grow or learn a thing.Admitting you may be wrong is wisdom in the making.everyone is wrong about something and is ignorant if he thinks hes always right
