I had my period for the first 3 months of my 1st pregnancy. I found out because in between my periods I didn't feel normal. I was really tired, sick to my stomach etc. So I took a test. When I got my period after finding out I was pregnant it was really scary. I thought I was having a miscarriage. I called the doctor right away and lucky for me everything looked fine. If you think you might be call a doctor and find out :) Good Luck

Although this sounds far-fetched (because it did to me and shes my mate!!) my friend and I were pregnant at the same time and gave birth about a week apart. She claims she did not know she was even pregnant. She saidshe had periods all the way through and seeing her during pregnancy she never had a bump...she went from a 10 to a 12 so thought it was a little weight gain. Looking back she said she did eat a lot of oranges so that must have been her craving.....but she says she has no reason to lie so i guess as strange as we, as her friends all found it...it must be true....also the way i see it is if she did know she'd have told me coz we were pregnant at the same time! So in short...what i was trying to say is that i know one person who claims to have had periods all the way through. One day a week after my son was born she was in her lounge after having what she says she thought was period pains when she suddenly felt the urge to push, and so she delievered her daugther in her lounge...ruining i might add her Mums cream sofa!! lol!

With my third pregnancy I was late did a test which was positive but then I had a period which lasted a couple of days so assumed the test was wrong. Then I did not have another period so tested again and was pregnant. Had a healthy pregnancy.

I had periods right through my pregnancy. I only found out I was pregnant when I was taken into A&E with a severe kidney infection at 6 months.

Yep, I was 91/2 weeks when i found out, my periods hadn't stopped but they'd got lighter and i did 3 pregnancy tests which all came out negative, in the end i went to the docs as i still felt unwell, he did a test and i was pregnant. Then my sisters had the same thing, negative tests and periods, apparently it can happen in some people. Interestingly, we react badly to anaesthetic too

I had 2, although both were light. I figured I was pregnant when I threw up every morning for 2 weeks.

Hi,

My sister had one every month the whole way through her second pregnancy. Its quiet rare but it does happen, she knew she was pregnant when she kept being sick from 6 weeks!
