I will answer this question by including an excerpt of a letter I sent to a gay friend a while back-
On that note, let me tell you a (true) story that happened to my wife and I a few years back. We were both working in a motel, myself as security, she in housekeeping. A 'couple' (two guys) moved in, and stayed for about a week. Well, before they left, they evidently had a 'party' and left blood, semen, and feces all over the bed, floor, and room, including the walls and bathroom. My wife and another gal spent hours cleaning up that stinkin' mess, and risked their lives to do so-AND YOU KNOW THAT IS TRUE! Now, how will you defend someone doing such a horrible, irresponsible, and dangerous thing? Was it love for each other, love of God, and respect for others that led them to such an act of pure animal violence against each other, and toward those who had to come behind them and try to get the room livable (for normal people) again? I submit to you that the devil and the hosts of hell were in that place while that was going on, and God would not have been unjustified if he had destroyed us all at that time-them for direct guilt, and us for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, even though ignorantly-in order to stop it. It is only his grace and love (and finite patience) that kept him from doing so that day.
That is why it can't be ignored-it hurts other people, and those who practice it have an 'in-ya-face' attitude about it today, anyway. They wouldn't LET us keep quiet about the subject, even if we wanted to!

People are scared of different. Plain and simple.Even as far as having tats or peircings goes! or clothing! It is rediculous! As far as bible pushers go on the gay subject, if they don't want to be "saved" leave em' alone! If they are not hurting you then you are only hurting yourself by getting worked up about it! It is the same thing with race... people get so mad at someone because of the color of skin or language! I personally think that the world would be boring if everyone had the same color and way of talking and looks. If you are going to dislike someone or even hate them do it for good reasons and not because of those things. I have met many people of all sorts of color, bi, straight, gay, lesbian, short, tall and none of it matters as long as they are a good person! My motto.. If you are nice to me and a good person we can be friends!

People are f........ rude and ignorant, thats why. If you havent figured that out then im sorry. Some people just need to get kicked in the face and be made to shut up. Being gay doesnt mean you are different. Its a way of life and God made us all equal and thats that. If he didnt want there to be gay people then what the hell. All you haters can kiss my shoe. See ya!

Thanks! I'm a gay guy, and to me being that way is the greatest thing. I love myself the way I am, and I don't give a damn about people's way of thinking. All sexualities are normal, and science proved it over and over. People are just too attached to many very old ideas about homosexuality as if it's some type of perversion. You're a straight woman, and I don't think you ever chose to like guys. Same way I didn't choose to like guys as well. I hope to meet and befriend more people like you (I hope we can become friends). Anyways, thanks a lot for your post, people like you make me love and accept myself even more, everyday.
EDIT: To Josh: You mentioned one situation about one couple, and you're generalizing their irresponsible actions on the whole GLBT community, which is a pure ignorance. What if I told you that most of pedophiles are straight (Which is proved through stats, does that make you a pedophile as well?

I'm with you on this my co workers think I am strange to have strong feelings for a Lesbian I work with. Before things exploded they kept on saying I was a Fool to won't to love her. They seem to think love is sex.Tiena Turner said it best when it comes to sex.I am homophobic towards Gay Men tho. They seem to like me for some dumb reason. It has bin suggested I am Pan Gendered, and that is what attics them.I do seem to dress A sexual at work colorful off work.

Different strokes for different folks. I've had gay and bi friends. I've even been told I'm gay (I'm just "too nice"). I think people are just scared of stuff they don't know , or are too stubborn and narrow minded to learn, about.
If people would just Mind Their Own Business the world would be much more pleasant.

Wel, I'm straight, and I like to have sex with straight women.
Ergo, I must care.
But I don't hate gays. Unlike some idiotic retards in this forum, I respect the GLBT community.
Still I find it quite hard to grasp your penchant for singleing yourselves out.

I couldn't agree more with what you say! People need to stop caring do much. Its their decision to like the same sex. As time goes on, i think it will become more and more common.
