Absolutely... it was just that much less that you money grubbing socialists could shove into your favorite "special programs" to keep the poor man down...

of course they are proud - afterall, pride is a sin
and of course they're proud - afterall - since the GOP lost the U.S. civil war they have been trying to destroy America - typically through sublime methods such as feigning allegiance to America and corruption from within
and the best part for the traitor Cons? that in all likelihood, HUUUGE chunks of change from that 25 billion (at least that's the number$ they're telling us - which means it's probably twice that easily) are as we speak arming and funding radical groups which in a decade or so will become the most vile enemy America has ever seen - thus propagating the GOP perpetual war machine
we can all thank the Cons yet again when another one of their Iran / Contra / Saddam / Al Qaida whatnots in about a decade - but of course they'll say it's Clinton's fault
or by then "it's all Obama's fault!" LMAO

Naw, it's just a drop in the bucket.
It pales in comparison to the $42 BILLION per DAY we pay on interest on the national debt -- run up to record levels by Bush. That $42 BILLION per DAY goes almost entirely to Saudi Arabia and Japan, and has absolutely no constructive purpose. Imagine Bush losing his $25 billion twice a day, every day for six years, and you begin to get some sense of the waste of our tax money that this spendthrift has wrought...

So when the democrats were wasting trillions propping up the welfare state over the last 75 years trying to fight a war on poverty were you proud? Especially since there are more impoverished and addicted to the giveaways now they when we started.
