I advice you to look for good German universities on wikipedia.org or at yahoo.com or at http://www.yahoo.de (Yahoo German) or at http://www.google.de (Google Germany). Enter the term "Deutsche Universitäten" and you'll find lots of results there.

There are many good universities - which one is the best would depend on which subject you want to study.

The Technical University of Munich is very good for all natural sciences. Tuebingen and Heidelberg are both good for the humanities, and Tuebingen is also famous for medicine and law. Cologne is very good for business studies and related subjects... the list goes on.

Tuition is either very low (€500 per semester), or free, depending on where in Germany the university is.
