With my first I got pregnant on my first cycle, after having a condom fall off accidently. With my second I got pregnant on my second cycle, she was actually tried for. And with my third I wasn't even trying, it was while I was trying to switch birth control and in the middle of spotting.

I took me six months for my last two pregnancies. I know this is going to sound crazy but for some reason I am more fertile around Christmas time. All three of my children are born with three weeks of each other(different years of course). I got pregnant right away with my first. I was only twenty. With my last I was 33 years old. I think age makes a huge difference. Also, relaxation. If you are concentrating on getting pregnant. The stress can keep you from getting pregnant. Good luck.

With my first born child 2 months, second born 6 weeks, third born 1 month, fourth born 5 months, child expecting now 2 months... I really think it has to do with timing and the fertility level of the two parents. Take care
P.S. I should also add that two of my pregnancies occurred when using a form of birth control.

My husband and I started in March of 1999. In May of 2002 I got pregnant. I breastfed my son and did not go on birth control. Breastfeeding caused me not to ovulate for a year. We didn't get pregnant again until March of 2006. My friend tried to conceive and ended up getting fertility treatments and then some hormone shots (because she miscarried 3 times prior). It took her 2 years on fertility treatments. When they attempted for her second pregnancy, it only took 3 months with fertility treatments and then they used a hormone to help prevent miscarriage.

One month after I got off the pill I was pregnant. And I had been taking birth control pills for nearly 15 years at the time.

We stopped using protection in the spring and weren't trying to get preggers - so with NOT trying, it took seven months - but had we been charting ovulation and what not, probably first or second try?

Well, me and my husband got married in June....by the end of September my pregnancy tests were showing up positive. I think we are both really fertile though. That's probably really rare.
