I want the songs, Boston by Augustana, Dark Blue by Jacks mannequin, or Because of you, by kelly Clarkson. I am not allowed to download anything on my computer, and I can't pay for it either, thanks for your help. i was also wondering, Its not illegal to get sheet music without paying is it? Cause that seems kind of dumb.

you have to save the files before you can view them (it's got becoz of you by kelly clarkson)- can you do that??? I don't know if that's illegal but everyone does it. I can also assure you that the site contains no viruses or anything becasue everyone who I know who uses that site hasn't got a problem with it (including me) and has never got a virus or anything from it either.

Depending on what you want to do with the music would determine if it was illegal to use the sheet music without paying. If you are using the music just for yourself or in a class you can get away with just using it without paying, but if you are using it for something like a marching band or any event where you would make money, you would have to pay the royalties.
You do have some options in finding the music. If you are near a very large library or a university with a music library, you might be able to get the music from them. You might also be able to find the music if it were in any of the guitar player magazines or similar magazines. They often have music transcriptions from popular artists. If you can find the music there, you might be able to get it form a library on on-line someplace.

all of the guitar sheet music websites are currently down pending an investigation into free sheet music. it seems that the artists get a cut of the money from people buying the books in stores so right now you cannot find any sheet music online... (unless you pay for it) this has been going on for months.
