Select Save As option in File and if you have a CD writer it should show as D drive, put a blank disc in and Save.

Have your lyrics in a text document i.e. like Microsoft Word. After you have saved it go to the location of the file (usually My Documents), right click on the file go to the send to option and choose the CD-ROM drive (usually D:). A balloon will pop up at the bottom of the screen saying files are waiting to be written to a CD click on it and choose the burn to CD option. A much easier option would be to buy a small USB Flash drive and transfer the files to it and send it to him instead

If both the PCs have USB sockets, the best option is to buy a USB Pen Drive (also known as Flash Drive and other names). These can cost less than £5, depending on storage capacity, and can be re-used, unlike standard CDs.
