I know how to do it just some of the questions are telling me to round to three decimal places and some dont have three...can anyone tell me how to get it?

Like I said at the top of the post I know how to do it just didnt know what to do when the question asked me for 3 places..but the first poster helped by saying you can add 0's behind it.

3/4 means 3 divided by 4, which equals .750 to three places.

You should be able to do the others.

To change a fraction to a decimal, just divide ... top divided by bottom.

If your answer comes out even, that's the answer. You don't need to round. So 3/4 is 3 divided by 4, which is .75 (You could write this as .750 , but there's really no reason to do that.)

yes add 0's to the end of the ones which stopped at two digits or one

3/4=.750
3/5=.600
6/10=.600
3/20=.150

That "/" sign means "divided by". Try that on a calculator and you'll start to see the light.

There are no more decimal places afterwards....it has a definite answer without it going to the third decimal place.
