If a teacher explains the lesson to the student and the student listens but does not understand, it is the teachers failing. Stupidity to me is someone who chooses not to learn, not some one who has a difficult time learning. We all learn in different ways and in many aspects of life we are all ignorant. It is up to us to teach each other.

When it comes to stupid, the world has an endless supply, in fact, the more stupid is used the greater the supply becomes. I agree 100% with your life lesson, what amazes me is how few people actually learn it.

I don't see the point in being politically correct about it. Some people are just plain stupid. They don't want to learn from their mistakes. Prefer to be alone, sad, mad or whatever because they won't accept responsibility for their behavior or thinking. Stupid people don't pay attention to anything; their own lives, others mistakes, teachers, authority, etc.
It is a negative term but it's used so often because of it's prevalence.

Paying attention. I went to school to feed my mind. The digestion was slow, I ate until fine. some I kept for another time. does that mean I was stupid or the food was not right for my mind. some minds knew right away where everything went they had lots of storage space left in their head. but my head was full of other things they did not teach or hear in school, did that mean I was stupid? My mind was busy at work , I got spanked and that hurt. I did not learn the golden rule, there was no time and I played the fool. You always had more brains than mine. that's ok. and I am fine. now I learn whats right for my mind.

STUPID - there is not a question in existence that is "stupid". There is not an answer that is "stupid". The answer is merely a statement without credible knowledge.
