midfielders, I don't know but Ian Wright was an Arsenal striker and he scored 185 goals. Sol Cambell scored a few, including in the champions league final. Ashley Cole scored a few.

whos cares. if english players aint good enuff then they aint good enuff 2 play 4 arsenal. if english players where that good wudent we have a good national team? ok david bently playing good 4 blackburn i suppose. but he aint banging them in is he. he wud be an average payer at a big club. pennant, well enuff sed. ok a few young english playes comin thru the ranks. but where do they all play at the mo. championship clubs. e.g nugent, bale. by the way ill think ull find chelsea only av a few. lampard, terry, cole, bridge and cole. cole wanted 2 leave arsenal so that was another we had. they are all good english players. and they wudent leave chelsea 4 arsenal wud they. rooney wudent leave man u. so whos left to buy 4 arsenal thats english and very good? not crouch, gerrard maybe. owen ****.
