depends on what you call "alot" [sic], but here goes:

don henley of the eagles
kelly keagy of night ranger
phil collins of genesis and solo
ringo starr of the beatles (not that he sang lead a majority of the time, but he did sing)

[ozzy's drummer (solo career) was Lee Kerslake; Bill Ward was Black Sabbath's drummer, so i'm confused about the ozzy answer...]

Bonus:
Karen Carpenter! Yes, she was a drummer first, in a trio with her brother. Somebody along the way decided that with her angel voice and face, she shouldn't be tucked away behind the kit. So, she played drums on lots of the albums anyway.

Atreyu. In their first 2 CDs, Brandon did all of the actual singing (which is about half). He does them on the CDs and live.

I can also tell you that in bands such as Taproot and Faktion the drummers do all the backing vocals live, but not on the CD.

Hope this helps! =)

For sure, Levon Helm from The Band is probably the best. What amazes me is how great a drummer Dave Grohl was with Nirvana, but now he is a kick *** lead singer. What talent.

Old ones- The Eagles, Genesis (Phil Collins)

Can't think of any current ones although Dave Grohl was the drummer for Nirvana he now plays guitar and sings for the Foo Fighters.

Don Henley sang many of The Eagles biggest hits. Phil Collins didn't do too bad with Genesis, either. Grand Funk Railroad had one monster hit (American Band) sung by their drummer.

I sure can....The Band. Levon Helm rocks it! Buy the Last Waltz...it's their final performance (and it has people like Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Neil Young and so forth "helping" them say good bye). Helm is the lead singer in many of the songs, and his voice never falters. I really don't know how he does it, because he puts all he has into the drums at the same time. Truly an amazing artist...
