That won't work, and will likely cause you to gain weight! If u don't eat your body thinks you are starving and saves everything it gets. Your best bet would be to eat 6 small healthy meals(limited carbs, good amount vegetables, meat, fruit) a day. Eating less but more frequently, ups the metabolism. And a lot of exercise, exercises that burns fat and calories, walking, running, swimming...But you have to have a happy medium on food, starving= fat, too much food=fat. For women a good amount of calories a day is about 1,200. And walking about 2 miles a day would burn those off plus some of the stored fat.

like others have said, don't "diet". Follow healthy eating plan and exercise and lead a healthy lifestyle.

1. Cut back or eliminate soda and drink as much water as you can, the best amount is to drink 64 oz. of water (8 glasses/bottles of 8 oz. water) a day. As close to that amount as possible. Water keeps you from feeling hungry.

2. Eliminate or cut back on fast food, it's not healthy and usually has very high calories.

3. Learn about proper portion sizes. A serving isn't what you happen to put on your plate. It's a specific amount of food defined by common measurements, such as cups, ounces or pieces. See the Mayo Clinic website below for specifics. Most Americans eat double or triple of what is considered a serving and then count it as one serving which is part of the problem.

4. Cut back on trans fats, found in oleo and butter. Land O Lakes has a fresh buttery spread with 0g trans fat that tastes really good. Its a yellow and blue container and most grocery stores should have it.

5. Exercise. Some people think, arrgh, exercise...but it can be fun. There are lots of exercises you can do that are fun: swimming, biking, ice skating, roller skating, dancing are a few things some people enjoy doing that are actually exercise even if you don't think about them that way. Get 30 minutes of exercise a day to maintain your weight or 45 minutes to lose weight.

Second website will teach you about different diets available and whats good or bad about them and whats involved. Third one will tell you some better choices to common foods you might eat and what might be a healthier alternative.

Seriously, that is the worst thing you could possibly do!! You need to eat 3 small meals a day. I am currently on a Low GI diet and is working well. For example:
Breakfast is 1/3 of a Cup muesli
1/2 tub of diet yoghurt on top
with some strawberries or other fruit
OR
1 piece of toast with avocado or tomato

Lunch: 1 cup fruit salad
OR
1 salad bowl with lettuce, tomato, asparagus, beetroot, alfalfa, carrot and you can add tuna/salmon
6-10 sunflower seeds/nuts

Dinner: 100g meat, alot of veggies, salad
(no potato unless BAKED sweet potato)

Plus you have to exercise. Go for an hour walk and work up a sweat

u shouldn't punish urself!...just make urself a chart and FOLLOW it daily don't forget or give up on urself. I have the same problem I stick to the diet for about 2-3wks and i hardly see results so i quit. Right now i am on the apple cider vinegar diet where you drink 3 tbs. of apple cider vinegar mixed with about 4oz. of water yo udon't want to dilute it that much or it wont help. you drink it when you wake up, in the afternoon, and before bed. and eat after you take it or you'll have an upset stomach u don't want that. and if you can't stand the taste of the apple cider viegar mixed with water quit adding water and add 8oz. of fruit punch thats what I do and u don't even taste one bit of vinegar you just taste the fruit punch. You can go to walmart and buy a gallon of applecider vinegar for about $3 its not expensive at all. I've been on this diet for 4wks. now and I have lost about 15lbs. because i workout daily and only eat small amounts of food just enough so u don't starve. Well hopefully this helps u out a lot it did me and I feel great. Good luck hun, and like I said DON'T GIVE UP!!!!

Yes--Don't diet.

You're saying what you need. What about what's realistic?

Don't diet.

LEARN TO EAT IN MODERATION. Write down what you eat each day in a food journal--figure out WHY you overeat and WHEN you overeat.

Also, fix meals that offer things to your diet. Eat plenty of fruits and veggies in moderation, and just learn to stop when you're full. Drink 8+ glasses of water a day and EXERCISE.

You're not going to get anywhere if you don't exercise.

Join a gym--here you can join Gold's Gym for around $50/month and it includes a personal trainer. Get involved in classes--pilates, yoga, karate, etc. Just GET INVOLVED.

I ran for 15 minutes every night for 3 months and lost 52 inches off my body. If you really want it, you'll work hard without compromising your health. Weight loss is a lifestyle change.

That was very nice of you to want to look nice in the bikini. But you see there is no pleasure without any sacrifice/pain. so go ahead and do a bit of exercise and eat well but on one condition CHEW each morsel for at least 32 times and only then swallow it this will help reduce your intake and the quantity too. Do eat good good (Quality& Little Quantity) wishing you all the best in you fitting in your old clothes.

Atkins will help you lose weight and suppress your appetite. Eating so heavy in the morning is not that good. you should never eat till you are full EVER. eat every 3 hours and snack when you are hungry. You punishing yourself will only make the matters worst. Key to a successful diet: IS YOUR MIND HAS TO BE IN IT. You can't want something and never act on it. I have pounds to lose and what has kept me going since Jan, 2007 is MY MIND IS IN IT. Every where I go, people I talk to all know about my diet and that makes you never cheat. Also, no eating about 6pm. You will see a HUGE difference in your body EVERY morning. mo.
