I am a senior in high school (only 4 months left!) and I'm not going to lie. Me and my friends have done some pretty rebelious things without really knowing why. Some of these things include ding dong ditched, throwing stick in the middle of the road as cars drove by, throwing snowballs at cars, mailbox bashing and egging cars. I look back at these events (most of which were done during my freshman year) and think, "good times..." I don't do these sorts of things anymore and about 95% of that stuff was just targeted at random people. What I really hate is that a lot of times high school kids vandalize possessions of parents of other kids they may not like

Sorry, but its truly impossible to completely explain stupidity.

But basically you gave about as much of an answer as can be given in your own description of the question.

I don't know what is wrong with the youth today. Vandalism of any kind is pointless and stupid. Do something that you can be proud of,help someone. Kids have way too much free time on there hands. I hate to say, it but my Dad was right, kids need to be kept busy all the time with something constructive.

High school vandalization is a sign of missing brain cells.
