The Libs need a loss in Iraq. No matter the cost, they can not allow Bush to claim any sort of victory. That is why they cant see the fall of Saddam as a success, the free elections as a success and the adoption of a constitution as a success. They must push for a loss and then point at Bush for failure. Then they will try to claim the next administration based upon the failure in Iraq they so badly need. Oh, wait, they support the troops on the ground, though.........yeah right.

There have been many laid out by different democrats. Most people who pay attention to the news should know these plans. Also, many are aligning themselves with the Iraq Study Group's report.

Keep using American Soldiers as targets for the "insurgency" until they run out of the ammunition that Ollie North sold to them...

"Liberal plan" is an oxymoron -- very fitting though, since most liberals qualify as morons. Just ONCE I'd like to find a liberal that can articulate a position and defend it with an intelligent, cogent argument instead of the usual no-holds-barred bashing, name-calling, and elementary school playground antics. But from what I've seen on Yahoo Answers, I have to wonder if any such liberals exist...

I haven't really heard one myself. I'm thinking that we should be hearing more about what the plans in Iraq are, now that we're seeing more and more Presidential candidates surface.

The Lib plan is already in progress. You know, the pointless resolutions the house has been debating over for the last several weeks. I guess they just want to make it look like they are actually doing something.

The BIPARTISAN plan for Iraq (that's everyone who isn't Bush Co) is stated in the Iraq Study Group Report. But it doesn't matter, because like EVERY other idea besied MORE OF THE SAME, it will be largely ignored. Why do we need a plan for a war that has been goingon for years? Oh yeah, because BUSH DIDN"T HAVE ONE>

They don't have one. With all the posturing and all the griping and whinning about Bush staying the course and needing a new plan, they have come up with ZILTCH, other than cut and ruun! I think we stay another year, keep training their forces, step down slowly in 2007 as a coalition, let them step up. What we have done is to provide them with the opportuity for freedom and democracy, it's up to THEM to keep it if they want it!
