I have been told that my Grandfather is a descendant of the Kennedys and I know that Pactrick Kennedy immigrated in the mid 1800s to Boston. I was trying to start my search there but I don't really know where to look. Can anyone help me?

Do you live in Boston? If so, try official buildings, like City Hall, or a records building of some sort. Just guessing; that's what I'd do if I were looking for a relative from Beantown.

Have you tried Googling those names? Or Wikipedia?

Ancestry.com has some amazing tools to find ancestors, including ship's manifests. Some of the site is fee based, but not all.

probably the library or something. They usually have things documented in a periodical census.
