I'm curious as to why the US allowed Israel to develop Nuclear weapons and cause the area to become so unstable?

No one wants to use atomic weapons, they are a last resort measure. As proof, the atom bomb was only used twice in a war when it was first invented, the last 50+ years have never seen an atom bomb deployed across many conflicts.

I do not think he cares about the historic stuff. Let me ask you this, how would you prevent the country of Iran from obtaining and using nuclear weapons?

Who knows what goes through his mind? The man doesn't listen to his advisers, and seems to think that it will be his way or the highway. I think he sees himself as a 'messenger' specially chosen to change the middle east, when all he has done is start wars that will continue for years to come. When asked about this situation, he told reporters, that would be up to the next president. The man terrifies me with his lack of concern for consequences.
