The Yahoo corporation has one allegiance, money. However the company has a very liberal culture and is located in one of the more liberal regions of the country so it is natural for it to adopt a liberal outlook.
But you find most media outlets, and Yahoo is no exception, have adopted a liberal stance. They rely on advertising dollars and advertisers look toward youth and those with alternate lifestyles as their prime democgraphics because of the large amounts of discretionary income that tend to follow those without children.

Yahoo is run by college educated information technology and news individuals. Since most cons dont have an education it is highly probable that the ratio if lib to con is higher at yahoo than you would find at walmart or mcdonalds
