They are "open-minded" and "tolerant" only of people who believe exactly as they do. They hate someone who has taken the fight TO the terrorists. Because elitist liberals can't come up with productive ideas or solutions of their own, they cover their intellectual ineptitude and dishonesty with irrational hatred directed at someone with a plan of action. Negotiate with radical Muslim terrorists... please. These are the people that despise W but revere the likes Che Guevara, Castro, Lenin, and Mao. They talk about how "patriotic" they are and use rhetoric about how "patriotic" it is to protest, but this is just window dressing to cover their deep down hatred of America, the US Military, and everything for which America stands.

I don't know any elitist liberals, I know a few elitist conservatives.

You make a question based on what sounds like something off of conservative hate radio. They are the only ones I know that use the term elitist for liberals. Irrational hatred of GWB. I don't think so. The hatred of Bush is well earned and is done by perfectly rational people.

It is the rantings of conservative hate radio commentators that are irrational.

Elitists Liberals have been pissed since he became president. It is impossible to explain something that is irrational. The true Elitist Liberals would hate any Republican so in that sense he is really nothing special. By their very nature they hate anything that is not the same as they are.

Keep you pimp hand strong!

As much as I hate to side with the "elitist liberals", Bush is the biggest fascist since Lincoln. He has completely alienated himself from the true Republican Party. Only the party loyalists and the religious right support him now.

The irony is that the very reason George W. makes us grind our teeth to tiny nibs, is that we AREN"T elitist.

It is because of George W's complete disdain for the poor, for those who aren't white and dont' live in the US, for those who come to this country because they are trying to escape terribly destitute and horrible situations, for those people in the middle classes for whom he pretends to hold their best interests at heart while laughing it up with his rich buddies, for his complete disdain for the military and our veterans who come home from the war terribly mangled both physically and psychologically who are having their benefits cut so that he can continue to cut taxes for the rich and continue to create new loopholes for them to get out of their taxes, thus placing the financial burden of taxes even more heavily on the middle and lower classes.

it is because we are NOT elitist that we cannot stand his pandering to the rich and the elite.

Because the main sream media has lead them by the nose for years. I seriously doubt a single person who even visits YA has ever even met Mr. Bush, much less knows him personally. HOW DO YOU HATE A PERSON YOU HAVE NEVER MET IN YOU LIFE? Like Mr. Spock would say, " That's illogical."
