No he has nothing against leather, he has a couple of jackets that are leather and when he wears them I go up to him and hug him and smell of the jacket while I am hugging him and he ask why I do that and I tell him I just love the smell and he said that is strange.

Why does he think it is strange?! You should ask him? I love the way it smells and I know a lot of people who like the smell too. That's why some people buy leather interiors for their cars. There is even a leather scented air freshener. Also men's cologne. Haven't you heard of English Leather cologne. It is not strange at all. Now if you liked the smell of stinky feet that would be strange!?

It's the metals used in the tanning process.
Does your husband eat shell fish?
