I've been walking to help myself dialate more, but I'm not sure if I should be walking fast, or slow. Thanks

Walk at the pace that is most comfortable to you. Be sure you are well hydrated. Nipple stimulation can work too. You can start trying to express milk, have your SO play with them, or take a nice hot shower allowing the water to rush over them. Good luck!

I don't know how you can walk. I'm 37 weeks pregnant & went to the mall last night. I was lagging behind everybody, and just walking made me miserable.

but walk at a pace that's good for you. not fast or slow. and make sure you are drinking plenty of water while walking

Aooohwwww! I LOVE your avatar! 3d baby ultrasound is SO cool. Walk as is comfortable to you. My walking served only to swell my feet. My baby never dropped. All 10 pounds 15 ounces of her had to be delivered by c-section at 41 weeks. My Mom and sisters babies never dropped either, but they DID dialate. I didn't even dialate and everything else was perfect in both of my pregnancies. Best wishes to you! Hope everything happens soon and goes REALLY well!

walk at whatever pace you find comfortable. my sister took a warm shower and that helped to, especially since you don't know when you will get a chance to shower at the hospital. you can also call your hospital's triage number and a nurse there can give you good advice. good luck and congratulations.

Everytime I ask this, my doc says "walk as fast as you can while still being comfortable". She says your body will tell you what pace you can or can't handle.

my doctor told me a steady pace that was comfortable for me. unfortunatly, it didn't work for me and I had to be induced. good luck!
