its a theory that pirates actually wore the patches so they could go below deck, in the dark, an be able to switch the patch, so that their sun blinded eye would be under the patch, an the eye that wus used to the darkness could imediatlee see the darkened suroundings ♥

I was actually whacked in the eye by my dogs claws and yes I had to wear a patch for 4 weeks. Luckily, I can still see. True story.

i wear two patches.one eye lost to captain hook and the other just popped out and rolled down the plank and into the sea.
