if we had sex before the day she will ovulate is there any chances that she will get pregnant? i think the last day of her mens was the week of jan. 25 and we had sex on the 7th of feb. and now she is delayed for almost 7 days.
i really dont have an idea to figure this out.. i hope you can help me.

It is a fact that sperm can live up to 4-5 days in your body, contrary to anything else you may have heard or read. In addition to this fact, the egg released can live between 24-48 hours. Therefore, your fertile period starts approximately 4-5 days PRIOR to ovulation and ends 24-48 hours after ovulation. If you do the math, it is possible for some woman to be fertile for as many as 7 days. You may have heard you can only get pregnant one or two days a month...SO NOT TRUE!!!

I think that she might be pregnant. Women's ovulation is not always an exact science. If you are in doubt, go to your local family planning where she can get tested for free with no charge and it's confidential. Sometimes just the stress of worrying about being pregnant can cause a delay. Use protection next time if you aren't ready to be a daddy!

Yes, she has a VERY high chance of getting pregnant because sperm can live inside a woman for 3-5 days, so even if you had sex 3 days before she ovulated she can still get pregnant. Hi Dad!

yeah, sperm can live for 5-7 days and still make a baby, go get a test, and find out for sure. If not, lesson learned and use protection from now on, if she is pregnant, set an appointment with an obgyn and go from there. Good luck!

Yes, according to the info you provided and the ovulation calculator on Babycenter, her fertile period was from Feb. 5th to Feb. 10th. There's a big possibility that she could be. You might want to get her a HPT (since you stated that she is 7 days late now). Hope things go well for you.

Yep sperm can live inside a woman for at least 48 hours and it usually takes that long for them to find and implant an egg it doesn't mean she definantly is but theres a good chance if your both fertile so just wait until she misses or doesnt miss her next period and have her take a test then you guys will know for sure. well i'm assuming that you did not wear a condom? but you can't just ask a question like that and receive the correct answer. Well yeah anytime a guy ejaculates into a girl she can become pregnant if not on birth control or sterile. So my answer is to wrap it up next time. Good Luck!~!

she may be pregnant since ovulations are always exact. also sperm can live for up to 5 days inside the uterus. sometimes stress can cause a delay in a woman's period. your best bet - take a home pregnancy test. if positive, go to your local clinic to confirm. and next time, protect yourself, use a condom and have her go on birth control. not to be judgemental but obviously if you aren't ready for parenthood then either don't have sex or don't be stupid about it when you do.

Yes ovulation usually occurs on the 13,14 and 15 days of the cycle. You were right in there on the 7th. She can take a home pregnancy test now.

there is a very good chance she is pregnant.
sperm can survive 3 to 5 days inside the vagina, depending on the fertility of the female. A woman is most fertile when she is closest to ovulating, which means if you had unprotected sex within three days of ovulation.... there is a very, very good chance of fertilization.
