I recommend checking the brake light switch. It is usually near the brake pedal. When you step on the pedal, you close the switch to illuminate the brake lights. If the brake lights don't work, frequently it is the switch itself, not the lights.
Of course, do a fuse check to make sure you haven't blown a fuse.
Good luck.

Either the brake light fuse, or the switch that activates the brake lights. Either of these are a cheap fix. Just make sure to do it real soon!

Brake light bulbs have two filaments. The brighter filament is for when the brake lights go on, and it usually burns out first. Replace the tail light bulbs (and one turn signal bulb while you're at it).

You could have afuse out. Call or goto your local auto parts store and ask. They would more than likely have the answer.

I would check your fuses, sometimes they will blow out and then you can't use your lights. Good Luck
