we all have many different ideas on this.. so lets get them all on the table.. no slandering.. no you guys suck or that's stupid.. lets act like adults... put all the ideas on the table and give them all some serious thought.. and maybe even email/call your local politician if you find something you like.

My idea? Iraq needs help.. but part of the problem is that it is the US there (not all but part) .. and this is a part we can take care of... we can try to get another nation to take over the policing.. I think Pakistan would be the perfect choice because they are an up and coming Muslim nation (being Muslim they will be more accepting and accepted than we can be).. and this is a great chance for them to get in good with a major oil producing nation.. we get to build better relations with both Iraq and Pakistan.. and the part of the problem that we CAN fix quickly, is fixed.. and we come out looking good in the process... so what are your ideas?

We need to be proactive to convince the rest of the world that we NEED their help. So, pull out and show them that we are trying to butt out, and let them take over their own country, and that we are working with other nations to get them the help they need. Now if we had a clear objective as to what our misison is, it will be easier to know when it is accomplished and we can leave. So far, all I heard was WMD(can't find them) and Saddam (he's dead) So unless there is something else I am missing, the mission is accompished and we should go. Our armed forces were never meant to battle another's civil war, or build another's nation. To fear criticism at THIS point in the game is ridiculous. We screwed up. End of story. Take it like a man, accept our failures, and work our butts off to rebuild the image and standing of america in the international community to what it once was.

Wish I had a solution but I don't. Not sure we need to be there now, then again we the people don't know the whole picture and not sure we can just pull out. A lot of people don't like Bush because of this war, but he has keep the U.S. soil safe. How many people would be happy if we just pulled out of Iraq and then we have another 911? The same people would be mad a Bush again for not keeping them safe. Don't believe there is any answer to keep us all happy.

For one, we win. We don't leave without victory. We did not start this war to lose it. Now before you call me a warmonger, listen to me. What about letting the Generals on the ground make the decisions on this war and not the politicians in D.C. They have done there part. They both, Democratic, and Republicans have put us into this war. Let's let the Generals on the ground do their jobs, and win it. Whatever they need, what they don't need, let them decide. Wars are started for good or bad reasons by politicians, but it is the jobs of the soldiers, and those in charge of them to fight and win. Do we train our military leaders to lose? Let's come together as a nation and give support, not to a political party, but to our military, and their leaders.

Mine is to stay at least one more year, which I believe was the plan all along, keep traiining the troops, slowly over 2007 start force reduction as the Iraqi's step up to the plate. Let them do their own policing, the less we do the better. At some point in time, only know to our two governments, the coalation will be out (little by little, and keep the news media out of it). This way the Iraqi government or people will sink or swim by themselves. We have provided the opportunity for them for freedom and a democracy, it's up to THEM to go from there!

Gradually pull out US troops so Iraq can stand on their own. They'll never stand on their own if they are dependant on US.

Leave 20-30k for support. Send the rest to Afghanistan.

Exactly as the dems and Iraq commission suggested.

Two Options:
1. Pull out of Iraq.
2. Draft 100,000
Pick your poison. I pick 1.
