Well, technically speaking, they both have matced graphical power, but really, the 360 has more.
Despite the talk and all of PS3 and Sony being the graphics king, well thats not true anymore, and never neccacerly was, remember how Xbox was pretty superior to the PS2 in most graphical areas, not all, but some for sure.
Buy IGN did a side by side test's on the systems and looked up ther specs, the 360 has more graphical power, now weather it will be utilized as much as PS3's, or vice versa, nobody knows.
But as of now, most games will look very identical between the two, only difference is it comes down to yout TV, and then even thats not tha case. Yes PS3 can run in 1080i, but that only alows you to see MORE pixels, that doesnt actually make the graphics better, just the resolution.

As far as graphic potential they are close enough to each other that it doesn't really matter. What is important is how well the game programmers are at ultilizing the system's hardware. You can find games on the last system that looks a lot better than some of the current ones. It all comes down to what games you want to play more than graphic specs when choosing a system. I bought a PS3 and plan on buying a Wii soon, for those reasons.

PS3 why cuz since it came out later Sony had more time to improve its graphics over the 360

The 360 has a better video card, the ps3 has a better processor. This will probably equal out in the end. At this time the 360 has a slight edge when it comes to picture quality.

it matters on the tv. i have both systems. if u have a nice big screen HDTV then ur better off with the ps3. if u have a regular tv i suggest then xbox 360 because to get best graphics on ps3 u need an HDTV. so uh.....ur choice.
