Ok I am 28 weeks pregnant (and huge might i ad) and was in the same situation. Me and my partner tried to survive on one income as I was unfairly dismissed when I got pregnant. Anyways it didn't work we struggled so I went and got a job in the local bt call centre. I was 25 weeks when they set me on and it isn't hard work sitting down all day answering phones. Yes its mentally draining but I do much more physical work at home.
Anyway I'll get to the point. What I am trying to say is it isn't impossible to get a job when pregnant. Its not easy and I admit I was very sceptical at first but you wont earn any money hon sat at home wondering. Just get out there and ask. I'm afraid there probably isn't any alternative :(

Its really hard to get hired when you are pregnant. Especially when you are that far along. Noone wants to hire someone who will just be there for a few months then have to go home and get paid for 6 weeks... I would say get a part time job doing something simple that isn't very demanding. Being a hostess at a resteraunt, working for WalMart or Albertsons in the customer sservice department. There are tons of ways to get help while you are pregnant also. WIC, and other government aids are available. They'll at least help you with food, and sometimes if they do it in your state, they'll help provide housing and help out on bills etc. Just talk to the CCA. Also, go to a local church, have some people pray over you and see if they have any suggestions. Hope everything turns out fine. God bless you.

Honestly, you really should have tried getting a job when you weren't showing.... Its not impossible, but I don't know what you can do 6 months pregnant? Do you have any friends that are managers at offices or even at a coffee shop.
Did you have a plan when you got pregnant? Do you have other relatives that could give you a place to stay until the baby is born?I really think you should also make some more concrete plans for when your child is born.

since you are pregnant you can try contacting your local social services (WIC, Medical for example) depending on what state you are in. this way you can get medical care both for you and your baby, food and some money to get by until you are able to work again. depending on your skill set you may even get enough money to go back to school and get subsidized childcare. this is a low cost way to gain an education or increase your skills so that you can increase your money making potential after you have your baby. good luck.

Try these out. You get paid, I promise. I know people who have done these jobs. You need a computer and a home phone. You can even make enough to pay your bills on a small apt if you work 40 hours a week. Good luck!

temporary office work, eg clerical, reception, post, etc. You mention that going to work is difficult, and homeworking is not the answer - beyond what I have suggested I can't think of anything else. Good Luck.
