I am a HUGE Henry fan but I also recognize talent when I see it.
I think you need to specify what kind of skill - clearly different players are better at different things.
Henry does not dribble like C. Ronaldo, a flamboyant dribbler BUT Henry seems to be a better goalscorer and more of a team player - of course this would be biased because Henry has been playing much longer so we have more games to look at.
I say that Henry is a better forward because ultimately, goals matter more than style (but boy can style add to a game!).
p.s. Henry pretty much dives as much as C. Ronaldo and it is my main complaint about both - stop the damn diving

C Ronaldo has more skill....He is amazing...anyone who says differently, does not know what they are talking about...People need to open their eyes...and stop talking about diving...You heard the biased english commentators during the world cup and now you people haven't stopped regurgitating that same old crap...Get real!!! everyone in soccer dives......just look at Henry...France made it to the Finals because of his dive.
