I went to a meeting last night with a friend and it seems fun, but is it really worth it?

Yes, i started 2 1\2 years ago. I was able to quit my full time job. You will hear good and bad. Get all the facts and see if it works for you. If Mary Kay herself listened to all the negativity it would not be around today she was turned down many times but believed in her dream and kept going. Yes you need to work a little to get customers but don't you work at your job the difference is you are working hard yourself. I have fun and meet lots on people. I love how the company treat people and agree with it's beliefs. There is so much more to it then selling make-up. Lastly i tell people who are trying to decide what do you have to loose? Is the 100 investment worth seeing if it can work for you? Good Luck

You can make lots of money and meet lots of people. I have sold Mary Kay for 4 years last week I made $450. Wouldn't you like to be a Mary Kay Millionaire?

Network marketing can be fun, challenging, rewarding, difficult but simple and can help your personal growth immensely. You should absolutely choose a company whose products you believe in. If for you, that is Mary Kay...then go for it! For me, as a professional having graduated cosmetology school in 1988 and having worked for top brands like Estee Lauder, it was not a fit. I have LOADS of information that can help you decide if this industry and/or business is right for you. Visit my site and email me (link at the bottom of the page) and I will be glad to send you some information.

if you really want to start selling stuff use stuff you really love. me personally I don't like the mary kay stuff. My cousins friend sells this Arbonne. wow this stuff is really good and actually have products that work. My cousin paid like $30 for the year for but she only did it because she gets a 35% discount for her friends and family(me!!!) and she doesnt have to sell or buy anything, you can make money off this product if you want or choose not to ,and make sure mary kay stuff you don;t have to buy anything and get into a hole. my cousin gets her stuff here if you want to know more. myladybeau.myarbonne.com
this stuff is awesome!!!!

if you already have a large group of people that you KNOW and are really interested in purchasing from YOU, then ya, it's worth it. but building a client base can be really hard. you might end up having to go door to door.

and you won't make a lot of money unless you can really devote a lot of time to it. you'd have to make it a full-time job to make it worth your while. good luck!
