Put in a filter.

Y! Mail has email filters you can set up, where you filter out messages that contain ____ in the _____ (header, title, message body, etc) and send them straight to the _____ (trash, spam, etc) folders.

You could set up a filter for a swear word you would not normally use. Course, this would filter out friends' emails if they use the swear word too. But I think you could think about it and use a swear word you might find in a nasty email, but not receive from your friends (if you, *gasp* use curse words with your friends)

Get a good spam filter (if it's spam)...if it's online, and you need a good spam filter, try to finagle a Google email (gmail) account: gmail is a good spam filter on its own, plus it gradually learns spam patterns from you, plus you can *define* specific filters.

Don't stoop to their level and don't respond. If you do then that means that they got to you.
