I am getting a bikini wax for a spring break trip. I am leaving sunday for the trip, so I have 5 days basically for the red spots to heal/go away after a bikini wax. Will they be gone in time? Know any ways to speed up the healing? Thanks!

5 days should be enough time to recover....if you have never had a bikini wax you may have some bruising though ( and that takes longer than a week to go away ) You could try an oil called Azuleen.....It actually comes with alot of home waxing kits....to speed healing and prevent/ minimize redness.

Wow , that's a question that I would like to know the answer to as well. I t does help to put polysporin on it just after you wax for a few days. When the skins is okay after the wax and can take it, make sure you exfoliate to prevent ingrown hairs. But sometimes these things don't work because pubic hair is curly so that it takes the twisty windy road to the surface rendering this area more conducive to ingrown hairs

It all depends on your skin type. The more fair your skin is the longer it takes and could also cause bruising. For medium skin like mine, its usually gone by the end of that very same day. To prevent bruising or redness rub the red area after you wax and apply ice to it for 10 minutes.

they make these medicated pads that you can wipe on the area to get waxed before hand to help keep the bumps from being so bad. and you wipe them on afterwards, too.
