There's a cookbook out called "It's All American Food." It has a lot of stuff on each region of America and also the ethnic foods that people brought over from their home countries. Its really interesting!
But in answer to your question, cheesesteaks, Hogies, dutch apple pie...

scrapple - i was always too scared to try this! ick!
not sure of anything else - lived right outside philly for awhile and you can get a lot of great food there. best italian food i've ever had - down in the italian market area.

Scrapple--yum! If you want to try it in a restaurant, ask them to cut it in half lengthwise and make it really, really well down and crispy. That's the way my mom used to make it and it's awesome that way! That thick, mushy thing--I don't like it either. Soft pretzels, TastyKakes, cheese steaks with Cheese Wiz, funnel cake, shoefly pie, apple butter.

Try the SCRAPPLE...
Get the Rappa brand. It's really from Bridgeville, Delaware, but it's the best.
Cut it in very thin, uniform slices and grill it up on both sides until it's crispy.
Mmmmm mmmm mmmm!!!!
