Has anyone here ever had period like bleeding come about a week and a half late while pregnant {I know it's possible, have a whole family history of it} but their tests didn't come up positive until like a week or 2 after the bleeding? then ya didn't have any symptoms until a while after you found out you were pregnant? I had some bleeding a week and a half after I was late, and took a test and I don't know if my mind was playign tricks on me, but there was a faint faint unseeable unless staring at it line. My period was very weird. I am planning on testing again then getting a blood test. Anyone have what I asked? I finished actually bleeding on the 22 or 23 the I was having dark brown heavy spotting til the 24th. Now I am completely done. I tested on Saturday. And yes I know all about time limits and evap lines, cuz I am trying to conceive! Oh and I also had a chemical pregnancy back In August/September.

It could just be that the line is not as dark as you think it should be. I had a lot of the same symptoms, took a test and only one line was really visible, but I could see a faint line in the other spot. Turns out two weeks later that I am prego with twins! I would just try again, and read on the instructions, most say that if you see ANY line, it is positive. Good Luck!

If the line was faint, you are probably not pregnant. My understanding of the pregnancy tests is that they are positive or negative and have no in between. I'm not sure what a chemical pregnancy is or if that has any effect on the test.

that faint of a positive could mean miscarriage or false positive
