Your bills are your responsibility. I realize that you have children and a sibling to take care of, but if your husband's income is just not enough to make the bills each month, then you need to step up and take some of the responsibility. You can at least work part time somewhere close to home to help cover the loose ends.

Also, you can do things to help lower your electric bill. Like turn off your computer, make sure your lights are only on when you need them, put towels up against the floor of your doors to keep drafts from coming in, wrap your windows with plastic to help keep your heater from working so hard, and keep the thermostat lower then wear layers of clothing in a 65 degree home to stay warm.

Is this a serious question? Anyhow, if you live in California, then PG&E has a program for lower income homes called CARE that gives you a reduced rate. But seeing as you are past due, the best thing to do is to call the electric company and ask about a payment plan and what you can do to reduce your energy costs.

your question is nearly unreadable when you got to comunity services.

however if i am reading you right, your pregnant have 2 kids and are living with your sister?

but if your not pregnant, you should get a job, if not to pay off your debts, then to not be a parasite to society.

and not to ridicule you but, why the F* are you having so many kids when you cant even pay your electric bill???

If you are taking care of a sister that is under 18 social security should help. I believe that you are entitled to a S.S. check off the fathers S.S. benefits for taking care of her. Call your local social security office and find out.

See if you have a church mission in your town, call them and ask if they have any services to help. Sometimes they do. Call your local electric office and ask them if they have any programs available to help, or know of any for your state.
