Of course not, it's actually forbidden. Any "sex" is usually rape, when officially no one is looking, usually against a weaker, younger inmate. Otherwise, it's all masturbating, which just doesn't make for an exciting crime show on TV.
Depending on the jail or prison, inmates often have regular jobs they go to, like laundry, janitorial work, keeping records, sometimes running a library or barbering, etc. Or they might be in lockdown all day except for meals or an hour of exercise. They usually have access to books and magazines, sometimes there's a common TV they can watch. Not being able to do anything to "pass the time" is supposed to be the punishment.

what's concept to be the value? That hasn't been stated. The learn in basic terms got here across a controlled looking, not a organic one. by skill of this, one can not be sure any fee that has been assumed, in basic terms what the examine' findings have been. If that have been the inspiration of the belief, then those figures ought to easily be challenged. The rfile would additionally in basic terms mirror the numbers of those reporting, not inevitably the certainly data.

I have worked with a few regular jail folks from time to time. According to them at least most are not having sex with each other but masturbation is extremely common.

If they aren't strong enough and are pretty enough, I'm pretty sure they get taken. The rest probably just get off on pictures.
