i own a repair shop and you should get new wires and spark plugs, air breather and gas filter, and the (timing set if possible if it has a distributor in it ) and also a good thorough inspection of the vehicle belts and all fluids topped off,and they should also scan it for any bad trouble codes that may be in the computer ,and this should cover a good basic tune up,on it,if it has a distributor you should also get a new cap,and rotor button, and that's about it,that should put it back to running really good,i hope this help,s. good luck with it.

Full Engine Tune Up

radiator flush, transmission oil and filter change, engine oil and filter change, fuel filter change, pcv valve, spark plugs and wires, distributor cap and rotor button (if equipped), it's also a good idea to clean out the egr valve and throttle body (or carburetor) with some carb and choke cleaner and throw some fuel system cleaner in your tank as directed. personally, if the engine hasn't seen proper care in a while, i leave the oil plug out and pour some kerosene through the block, wait until its done dripping, and start the engine for about 3 seconds to get the rest out, but you don't have to do this. you'll do better to buy all the parts and do it yourself or let a shade tree (backyard mechanic) do it so you dont spend too much.

#1---how old is the vehicle in question
#2--------A complete tune up could consist of--plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air-oil--& fuel filter changes.....
#3 If the vehicle in question is very old as in 25 to 30 years of age you may need points and condensor.

If this vehcile has electronic ignition system then #2 should do the trick.

Depending on how old your car is, there really isn't much involved in a "tune up" anymore.
Spark plugs, wires, oil / filter change, air filter, timing, check the cars computer. That's pretty much it.

Dodge man is on the money for you but I would also recommend having your timing belt checked and depending on how many miles are on the car, changed.

Without knowing the yr/make/model of the car its hard to tell just exactly what you need.

Have them fill your headlight fluid and put the front tires on the right side where they belong. Make sure ya have two transmissions if ya have a big car. And also get your dash lights cleaned and filled with hydrogen.
