SO COOL i live in the buffalo area and i think its sweet that everyone is coming together for this. just shows how much the sabres mean to buffalo and how tight it is

I commend the fans from Buffalo, I'd offer to help just because I think Lindy Ruff did the right thing. If the refs are blind. You have to take the matter into your own hands.

Really mixed feelings. Sure that hit looked dirty in my opinion BUT that doesn't give Ruff the excuse to tell his players Go out and get them. He was being just as childish, actually WORSE unless it is proven that the Ottawa Coach SAID to do that, so he deserves the fine. Make him pay it and see it next time he at least doesn't ADMIT he told the players to go get them.

Nothing like what makes hockey so unique (fights) that brings fans even closer together! I love it. The Sabres have already told the fans they would pay for it so the money will go to charity. Even better!

I heard that on ESPN this morning. Just shows you what great fans there are in the Buffalo area for their Sabres.

The Sabres have issued a release saying that they will pay the fine, and all money raised will go to charity.
