The acid content in coffee is too high for most potted plants. I pour my leftover coffee in a little area outside my kitchen door. Doesn't seem to hurt the grass or shrubs.

Ok. I wouldn't do it often. Coffee grounds and tea leaves are good for outdoor, in ground plants but in pots it molds. If you want to give houseplants leftover coffee once in a great while, ok, but it does stink so I wouldn't.

As long as there is no cream or sugar in it, it should be ok. Are the plants the type that can handle the acid content? Just remember to check to see if the plant is in need of watering, don't over do it.

I used to water down my leftover coffee and give it to my house plants all the time. And they loved it!

they say coffee grounds or tea leaves can be put on plants but I found that it just seems to cause mold in the soil, but I guess you will have to see what happens to your plant.

Yes, and no. The plant probably appreciates the perk up, but it's poison to non animal organisms.
