why is it that when you question iran's right to a nuclear weapon in front of a liberal, they always refer to israel as if israel threated to destroy another nation. iran has stated on numerous occasions that it wants to destroy israel. their islamic clerics are just aching to spread their worthless god to other nations, and many prominent iranians on the Communist News Network have stated that iran is a major source of funding for islamic terrorism. israel has offered many times citizenship to palestinians and full rights. but those PEACEFUL MUSLIMS refused it and started terrorist organizations. what a GENTLE AND PEACEFUL AND "GOOD FEELINGS" religion.
at this point the liberals will claim that jews "stole" that land and will find some biased site that claims to prove it. now who's the anti-semite/nazi? socialists against jews. at least jews didnt start worldwide terrorist movements like al qaeda and hezbollah.

Well a couple of things, first I do not remember Israel doing anything other than trying to stay alive. They didn't attack the US because we are not all jews, they have defended their right to live on their land free from threat from others. I don't see them proclaiming that it is their "mission in life" to destroy another country, philosophy or religion. Many muslim clerics have done the opposite and tout the presents of the afterlife to those who carry out their purpose.
Point blank, they don't want to wipe out others, so their having nuclear capacity is not a threat to the world at large. Unlike muslim countries where NO ONE is in charge and there are NO checks and balances in their religious teachings, clerics can freely pervert what was written to solidify their claims of death and destruction, who in there right mind would want an uncontrolled sociopathic group of religious zealots to have a nuke?

All I can say to you is this. I am a Dem who has some liberal ideas and some consevative ideas. Beleive it or not, a lot of us are that way. Please don't put all of us apples in the same bag.......I will tell you that if Iran wants a fight from Israel, they will get one and they will wish they hadn't asked for one. Also, we know that not all Muslims are bad people. But what worries me is the FACT that young Muslim Children the world over, even here in the US, are taught that we Christians are the scum of the earth and to do way with us is thier ultimate goal. That my friend, needs changed or we will never live in peace with the Muslims. Muslims have a hard time accepting other religions as good neighbors.

You have just managed to put into words( very eloquently) my very thoughts about this whole thing. That is very nicely written, and I think you have hit the nail right on the head. Israel can't win , no matter how much they give in. If it wasn't for having the weapons they do for a deterrant, they would have been wiped out long ago. Just say that Germany said it wanted Israel wiped out, like the leader of Iran did, would they not be in serious trouble, or wouldn't any country other than a Muslim one be in trouble. It's not politically correct to say anything even partially negative about Muslim nations, that's where we have arrived. Well, it was Muslims from various Muslim countries that knocked down the twin towers on 9/11, not Israel !!!

Because Israel HAS tried to destroy another nation. Remember Palestine? The majority of the land that the wonderful Israel is on happens to be Palestine and Israel has just plowed right over any buildings and people who may have been in their way of what THEY want...not what is legally theirs to take. There are even videos on Youtube that show this, and you can search it if you like. Just because you don't like what Jews do doesn't make you a Nazi.
What about the terrorist movement like DHS? They sent a man who just happened to be Muslim (BUT a Canadian citizen) over to Syria to be tortured and then interrogated without even asking Canada what CANADA wanted to do...in fact DHS point blank said that they wouldn't do exactly what they did which was send him over to be tortured. The US is far from innocent...Why do I not bury my head like everyone else? Because I LOVE my country...even enough to serve 4 years in the military...and I don't want the US to become like the Nazi's without any rights or ignorant of what their government is REALLY doing.

If Israel has a right to protect itself, why doesnt Iran? Israel has been in violation of more UN resolutions than Saddam, yet its OK for them to have nukes? I personally think neither should have nukes.
BTW- If you hate Islam so much, why did you liberate radical Islam from saddam?

Israel did steal land it has 3 times more land than the UN stole from the palestinians and gave them, stealing it through war which is illegal.
