On the Yahoo! Finance Summary page for GMR, the Ex-Dividend date for that company's announced $15 Special 1-time cash dividend is stated as the 7th of March 2007. My broker insists this ex-date is March 26th. Who is right?

Corporation (NYSE: GMR) today announced the New York Stock Exchange has
notified the Company that the ex-dividend date for both its recently
declared special cash dividend and fourth quarter 2006 dividend will be
March 26, 2007.

According to Google Finance, how that works out I dont understand

From the filing with the SEC: the dividend will be paid on or about March 23, 2007, to shareholders of record as of March 9, 2007. The ex-dividend date is usually two business days before the record date, so March 7, 2007, is the correct answer.
