i was a daycare provider and i have had plenty of kids just like this. they are spoiled. this is by all means not being mean or hurtful to the baby but i swear if you do this it works.. when you see that there is absolutly nothing wrong with her. take her lay her in her crib in another shut the door let her cry it out if it takes 1 hour -5 hours whatever. and they see you ain't going to run at their every whim and pick them up . they give up.. some cry themselves to sleep others just quit crying and begin to play and babble to themselves.. let them cry it out.. it works 100%.. it may take several days of doing this but it will work if you can tolerate the crying.. hang in there..always sneak a peek in the door without them hearing or seeing you every 5-10 minutes.

I had 2 babies like that. If you have ruled out the possibility of illness, there are a few things you can do:
First, remember that crying is healthy, and good exercise for baby. Second, some babies need more contact than others. This one sounds like she needs lots of contact. You can try one of the many baby carriers that allow your hands to be free, or learn to funtion with a baby on your hip and do everything with one hand.
Since you are the sitter, you have the option of telling the parents it isn't working out, or you need to be paid more to give this baby extra attention.

i think of that in the event that they are truthful with themselves and absolutely everyone else, absolutely everyone could say that they cry or a minimum of tear up on social gathering. I cry. in simple terms have been given performed crying. loads of issues make me cry. movies, track, rigidity, loneliness, etc.

she is probably held a lot at home... ask the parents to try and allow her to sit alone at home.. or be held less at home... if you feel you cant hold her all day.. then you need to tell the parents the situation can not work...

Some children just need to be cuddled.
Is she teething though? That might be the reason for her screaming all the time.

it could be that she's just not feeling well. I'd mention it to the parents. It could also be that at home she's held all the time...in any case I'd mention it to them.

Get a sling, she may just be a high-needs baby.
