Since Europe is the football capital of the world - do you believe that mexico should have selected an experience European coach such as Marcello Lippi instead of Hugo ?

Also, could Lippi (or any other European coach) provide a better defensive & offensive mexican unit or better yet - a more strategical unit, that will reap real football success ?

I personally believe that that Hugo Sanchez was picked because he had been wanting the position for a very long time. He even said in many interviews that he could do a better job than Ricardo La Volpe (Former D.T. of the men's National Soccer team). I also think that they gave him the position because many people believe that he was and still is the best player that has ever come out of Mexico. While La Volpe was only a substitute goalkeeper for the Argentinean national soccer team. Sanchez would also be a good D.T. because he knows how to play and can teach the rest of the team how to be successful on the pitch

YES but they dont wanna coach mexico for some reason, i still cant believe Gus Hiddink chose Russia over Mexico, Scolari decided to stay with Portugal, and Lippi was never a true candidate.

No lets just say Chepo becomes coach of Mexico, I don't think he will be influence he will anknowleged from other coahces expeiernce and it looks like Chepo doesn't take shyt from others BQ:Chepo or Vucetich BQ: it seems like a good move considering its the the EPL which is more competeive than the Eredivsie League

Sanchez was chosen because he is a CRY BABY!!! What's this?? that he won two championships true, and that is a very good thing as he is the only one that has won two short championships back to back as coach. But what happened after everyone realized that he uses his wings alot??? He almost sent Pumas to the second division with a record of 24 losses in 27 games. That is unheard of...what about with Necaxa?

is true europe is the soccer capital of the world but that dosent mean europeans are better than latinos, the biggest players are latinos, kaka, ronaldo, ronaldinho..., and the greatest of all times maradona and pele. hugo will be a great coach they just need more practice and to focus. hugo did really good coaching pumas and will do it again coaching mexico

mexico cannot afford european coaches and european coaches are not intersted in mexico. he might provide better defensive and offensive, or strategical ideas and practices but it is up to the players to implement this ideas. so we have to wait for mexican futbol players to get faster, stronger, and smarter for things to improve. mexico already has the heart it just need players that are better physically.

they thought of having Lippi as a coach but they came to their sences and realized that lippi would cost too much and would not really consider coaching the mexican national after winning the cup.......FMF put their hopes on the only mexican player that has real experience in Europe.......Hugo has been waitin many years just so he can get his turn in the big chair
