No matter what you think about what we should do in Iraq now, you must agree that the horror being lived by Iraqis will never be forgiven. Who will they blame ulitmately, for these things?
BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- A car bomb exploded Tuesday at a soccer field on the outskirts of Ramadi, killing 18 children, Iraqi TV reported.
The soccer field is in western Ramadi -- capital of the Sunni-dominated Anbar province. The children were playing on the field when the blast occurred, Iraqi TV reported. No other details on the attack were immediately available.
The soccer field attack followed terrorist bombings in Baghdad at a popular ice cream shop, a parking lot and a restaurant that killed eight people and wounded 24 on Tuesday....

Unfortunate update to the story:
Reuters reports a controlled blast by U.S. soldiers near a soccer field in Ramadi, Iraq, slightly wounded 30 people, including nine children, according to a spokesman for the U.S. military. Earlier reports said 18 children were killed.

What is happening in Iraq today is a direct result of our corrupt and criminal administrations decision to invade a sovereign country. Make no excuses for this poorly thought out decision, this is exactly what Bush's daddy was warned about and why he withdrew the troops during the first Gulf war. Bush jr. did not heed this warning and now we are up to our necks in a quagmire without a solution in sight.

We would be blame for it. But do we deserve the blame? I'm against the Iraq war but I think the Iraqis haven't done anything to help us and they expect us to all the work for them and most of them hate us. Why do we care what they think or how they feel about us? These are people that think gays should be hanged and that women should cover their whole bodies. I think is sad what is happening to them but I think they should start taking up a bit of the work and know that we aren't going to be around to help them anymore.

why don't you blame the REAL bad-guys here. you Dems are all the same.. putting blame on the wrong people. the terrorists and insurgents are to blame. we didn't tie bombs to a car and kill those people... and you are wrong. crap like that happened ALL the time before we got there. where have you been? and what if we didn't go in there and take out Saddam and break up cells and so and so??? they were better off?? please. yeah, it sucks now. war sucks. people in Europe and the Pacific weren't crazy about their family dying and their homes destroyed at the time... but, in the long run it was much better. worked out didnt it??

Sadam was a evil man..but you never heard of this stuff going on when he was in power. You can't put a powder puff president on the stand and say Im your new leader right after a dictator like that. The cause is gone...we need to leave, and just let all those crazy people duke it out. They are fighting a civil war that we have no business being in..and never had any business being in. There were never any weapons of mass destruction..its just Bush being a war monger republican.

This did not happen before because Saddam and his goon squads would have gassed entire villages to kill those responsible or to send a message to anyone else thinking of these actions. If you were an Iraqi which would you prefer? The oppressive thumb of a brutal dictator or the chance at self determination? They need to not stand for this stuff anymore.

It did too happen before we got there, it was Saddam doing it but he murdered hundreds if not thousands. Guess you're too young to remember all of the Kurds he gassed just to see if his chemicals worked. Mothers were killed still holding their babies.
If you don't think it happened before we got there, you shouldn't be here in the US but you should be in Iraq fighting with your terrorist buddies.

Yes, there are horrible, terrible things occuring there. I think you rush to conclusions when you say Iraqis will never forgive us. Not all of them blame us, and some may eventually forgive us that do (especially when / if the conflict ends).

Actually it happened quite often just as much as it does now, the difference is, because Americans are over there it is being coverered by the media. When it was just another country no one cared as much as they do when the men and women of the country are over there fighting to.
I wish it didn ot happen at all but it has always and will always happen there!
