No. Why? Because FFA requires that you do a lot of work on your own outside of class. Yes it maybe very physically demanding. But you grow as a person while learning to do different farm related jobs. It is never going to be counted as a sport. It is more than a sport it is a way of life for several millions of Americans. It was the way that this country was formed. All of our founding fathers where in some form or fashion a poor old dirty farmer. I am proud to say that I am in a small part a poor old dirty farmer.

Sport : is an activity that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often engaged in competitively.
Used by itself, sports commonly refer to activities where the physical capabilities of the competitor are the sole or primary determiner of the outcome (winning or losing),
but the term is also used to include activities such as mind sports and motor sports where mental acuity or equipment quality are major factors.

So really anything competitive activity is a Sport
