anyone who thinks it's real is a moron
we don't have enuff info to know it's real
30 yrs ago they said we were moving into an ICE AGE - global cooling - 30 YEARS AGO - let's wait another 50 yrs or so to say it's TRUE
i do think we need to stop polluting the planet tho...

We have power plants burning coal.
Millions of cars driving around.
Let's say that we didn't do anything to the earth and that this is all just a big coincidence.
That means that the REAL global warming that humans caused will be coming soon.
Besides, it's too much of a coincidence.
Science is 100% facts, and 0% belief. Scientists have extremely reliable machines with highly consistent readings. They test the concentration of certain gasses in the atmosphere over time and see that they're going up. They looked at the polar ice caps and noted that they are melting on a HUGE scale. They saw that the ocean level is rising.
Taking all of these facts together tells you something about whether it is all a coincidence or not. It's not.

If the "everybody" you have been listening to just sounds like they are saying it is our fault, you have a very valid argument if you have categorical proof that you have played NO role what-so-ever in the production of the "Current episode" of Global warming. However, just because it is NOT OUR FAULT does not mean that we should do nothing about it even if this is the 100th ice age. The fact is whether it is our fault or not, it is happening and there are things that can be done to slow it down or maybe reverse it. The big question is are you willing to do your part and not whose fault is it?

Depends on who you talk to about global warming.
A few years ago they were talk about global cooling than now warming.
Gore's own people while in office found out the influnce of mad on the temperature was not measurable.
Now they say it is.
We have at best 60 years of good world temperature data.
The world is 5 billion years old.
Not much to go on.
Please remember last hurrican season was so suppose to be the end of us all and what did we get nothing.
Their reply well you have to allow for some variance.
You vary a lot in my book to go from the worst to the mildest hurrican season.
Those who are truly honest don't know and are still trying to figure it out.
Where I got off this train is when Al Gore said "The debate is over!"
Well anyone worth their salt knows that in science good science there is always room for debate.

If one say Global warming is Our fault then it would be 100 % wrong answer. Because it is a very natural process and is observed as increase in the average temperature of the Earth's atmosphere and oceans in which various natural phenomenon also plays very significant role.
Natural Causes.
The climate system varies through natural, internal processes and in response to variations in external "forcing" from both calamities and natural causes. These forcing factors include solar activity, volcanic emissions, variations in the earth's orbit (orbital forcing) and greenhouse gases.
Of course we are also responsible for it to a great extend but to sum up , the answer to your question is that what ever you have asked is real to not just our fault.
"If their is a beginning then their is an end." What matters is just a struggle for survival .

While humans with all their progress have impacted on the ozone layer, you make a very valid point. The age cycle has been scientifically proved that it changed million years ago through all the changes our planet has gone through.
But the emphasis on the current accusation of humans is really important. We need to help as well. Mother nature can only do so much. If anything we are fastening that cycle you talked about.

You're absolutely right. They don't know for sure it's our fault. People saying it is haven't looked at any hard proof. Because there is none. We could be contributers at best. The Earths temperature naturally slowly changes, that is a fact. It changing to an unnatural higher temperature as an effect of humans has yet to be seen.

We can figure out how many ice ages etc have happened when we do core samples from Antartica, I'm no scientist, but I read about how they can determine those things through that, and moisture of an area through tree rings too. The difference now isn't just that we can measure the amounts gasses in the air its that we can actually 'see' the results of pollution in the air and see what happens to our trees and lifeforms when pollution gets to them. The simplist way to think of what we are doing to our planet is to think of a glass of water, now add a few drops of food coloring....now its tinted a color. If only a few drops can have such a large effect then think of this, only 150 years ago we had only water power and coal, and in London you couldn't see your hand in front of your face for the soot from the coal. People regularly died from the effects of the filthy air. Now it looks better but we are pumping many more chemicals and gasses into the air with our factores and autos faster than the atmosphere can cleanse itself, and the amounts of people and kids with respiratory problems is growing. Its the drop of dye in the glass. It may not be totally our fault, but while we are arguing about it, its still going on and either way you feel about it, it wouldn't hurt anyone to ensure that our factories and autos pollute as little as possible. We all breathe the same air, factory owner and worker alike. And here is where the political thing comes in, in order to seriously clean up our air and water industries will have to direct some of their profit to running clean, this will cost money and they don't want to spend it on breathable air, they want to spend it on outrageous pay packages for CEOs. With a few pennies more in stock payouts. Other than a desire to maximize profits there is no reason not to insist that we leave as little a mess in the air as we do when we hike in the woods. That is, if we are as careful of our resources as we should be.

It is our fault because it all depends on us, on how we treat the earth and in back of those days people did not use the cars so much, it is now that every uses cars even to go to a store that is right next to your house. It all depends on us and on how we try to stop this. And yes the Global warming is nearer and nearer.

yes, it is definitely the "humans" fault. case closed. now let's move to correct the error. hope it helps.
p.s. my short answer is due to the very fact that we live in a scientific world and the scientist have declared that it is human fault 'GLOBE WARMING".
