Censorship?

I have to write a paper on censorship and I don't have any ideas what to write about. Here is a guide I have.

Who is in favor of these limitations on feedom of speech?
Why are they in favor of them?
Who is opposed?
Why are they opposed?

I just did a paper on censorship this past semester. I am pretty much against it. I think that we should have the right to say what we want, as long as people aren't offended, and we definitely need to be less offended. I am saying you should be able to say the f word in public without someone covering their child's ears and acting like their child is now going to be corrupted. We should be able to hear George Carlin or Richard Pryor bleepless other than FRiday and Saturday nights @ 1 am.

We are told we have the Freedom of Speech, but when we try to use it, we get fined thousands of dollars. Canada has less restrictions, and they have almost no problems with it. The Janet Jackson Superbowl incident, they only had i think 50 people in the whole COUNTRY complain, while we had about 2 hundred thousand, allegedly.

Sorry for the rant, but I get kind of passionate about this stuff.

Liberals (democrats) are in favor of censorship. I would assume they are in favor, because they want to control what people view. Conservatives (republicans) are in opposition of censorship. Conservatives oppose censorship, because it is communistic and anti- American. As American citizens, we have a right to freedom of speech, freedom of the press, etc. That is what makes America so unique. We have so many freedoms, and many countries envy that. Parents should be able to choose what their child views, not the government.
