really a food saver isn't just a food saver it also saves room in a space that doesn't have much room. For example all winter clothing can be stored for summer and then summer for winter saves you room in your space that needs no clothing items or if you just want a neater apperance.

OMG i used my food saver to pack for my vacation 2 years ago!!! it works so much better then the sapce saver bags which always rip or pop open - i got 3 months worth of clothes (spring & summer wardrobe) into 2 suitcases!!!!

Sounds like a great idea, but when I researched clothing storage tips every site I checked with mentioned that it is important to allow clothing to breathe while in storage. You might want to do a little more research on this.
