Krakow is an outstanding place to visit, with plenty of cheap small hotels available outside of the tourist season ( it gets busy in July/August ).

Have a look at the National Tourism website and this hotel directory for some ideas: $50 - 60 should find you a very decent 3-4 star hotel. When i went 10 years ago it was $5 !!!

I know some cheap hotels in Krakow, but i think that you maybe should choose to visit Moscow not Krakow! Poland is not very impressive country. For more information check the website.

However there is also the Holiday Inn Express at 42 EUR.
